Driving Directions
From Denver: Take 285 South, which will bring you directly into Monte Vista on the eastern side of the county from here you can reach Del Norte and South Fork via Hwy 160.
From Albuquerque/Sante Fe: Take I-25 to 285 North and follow it into Alamosa, from here you will travel west on hwy 160 to Monte Vista, Del Norte or South Fork.
From Grand Junction: You have two options Take Hwy 50 through Delta and Montrose and head for Gunnison, your first options is Hwy 149 which is accessed by the eastern side of Blue Mesa reservoir through Lake City and Creede in to South Fork along the Silver Thread Scenic Byway or option two is to continue on to Gunnison and travel south on Hwy 114 into Saguache which will join Hwy 285 and bring you either into Monte Vista or take the 112 spur to Del Norte .
